I must have missed it? You said that the attendance figures were totally accurate, but then said that they were probably a little "light"? It just doesn't equate.
Folk that live in the "original" Halifax are just known as being from Yorkshire (and proud of it). We have a gibbet if you fancy taking that on though? |

Yes, I'm not sure if the players the security have to buy a ticket and have it counted...probably not so the attendance could be a littler higher than actually stated if you include them.
I won't take on the gibbet but I do have a couple of questions for you:
1. On one of your signs in the stadium does it say "Hepworth Road"-.is there a place called 'Hepworth' there?
2. The announcer you have for your games on You Tube (I love watching the Halifax games on You Tube) is just great-did he used to be a pro?, he sure does a good job.
3. Thats one weird cheer you have, its a crazy cheer-how do you make that cheer?
4. How is Fleming doing there?-report please.
I really enjoy watching Halifax on You Tube...you guys are doing a great job there!

Your Hepworth is a metropolis compared to our Hepworth in Bruce Country...a regular city ....there is always an interesting story (usually of a brave immigrant) behind the copying of these place names....there is a real god outdoor /kayak / canoe outfitter in the Hamlet of Hepworth over here.
The announcer is good and the cheer is like people rolling their tongues around or something...odd. Hope Dan and the family and new young un are doing well. That club director was right or I would never have seen Halifax on You Tube and become a fan!

Some great things happening at Halifax.
Huge credit to them for not only backing the reserve grade concept, but pioneering a way to ensure they can financially afford to do so, despite being a part-time club as such. There really is no excuse for any SL/top championship club to not run a reserve side.

So you basically follow a team fully of mercenaries? Nowt wrong with that. You enjoy your mercenaries, Toronto can enjoy their mercenaries. Everyone's happy.
Great news on Leigh finally setting up an academy last year. It only took 139 years  Using those epic timescales, Toronto have until 2156 to get their academy set up. |

Why drag up 19 year old news, Hull were struggling in SL financially and on the field until Gateshead rolled into town
As were SL sides Oldham, Workington, & Halifax, and look what has happened to them since....guess they needed Gateshead, but they chose Hull. ![]()
Quite aware of what happened in the late 90’s thanks, nearly having my club cease to exist wasn’t great. Do a search on David Lloyd & Tim Wilby to understand what happened. Still, I don’t see how this is relevant to the conversation?
Anyway, 1 Leyther at Leigh. A Leigh fan having a go at a club that’s just 18 months old for not bringing through any youth yet, whilst having next to nothing themselves, is absolutely hilarious.
