If they are safe, they may field a weakened team in the last game to give some rests before playoffs, which will hand Huddersfield the win (not that they couldn't win anyway)
That would put Leeds in a difficult situation.

Of course if Leeds win on Friday, it's all on.

Should we be looking up the table, it would surely not make sense for us to rest players against Hull and Hudds? A win against those sides in those games is just as valuable as a win in the super 8`s as all points are retained for the split.

I'm not sure why any team in the top 8 would be resting players when they have a chance of getting in the top 4. Its actually going to be a good race for that 4th spot I think

Leeds and Wakefield both have a slight advantage in that they'll know what they need to do on Friday with Huddersfield and Catalans (oddly) both playing on Thursday this week.

If the latter two both win, it'll put Leeds in the position of having to win all three games to avoid the bottom 4. If they do, and Leeds don't win, it would put Leeds on the cusp of being in the bottom 4 irrespective of remaining games with only PD being their only salvation.

As it is, I think Catalans have the greatest chance of sneaking a win against Wire this weekend. Huddersfield seem the most likely to drop out at the moment based on that inferior PD.

I believe Leeds will turn it around and win their last 3 games....If I am right, then after this weekend, then Leeds will be 1 point behind you with Salford and Widnes to play....and as the OP suggests, your tie with Hudds becomes key....

I don't see anything wrong with what Call Me God has said. Our record at Leeds is not good not matter the form, our record against Hull at home is iffy as is Hudds away. That lacklustre performance on Saturday has left us sweating and I don't think there has been anything more infuriating than Chester picking Liam Finn who is nearing his sell by date if not has passed it:
