Really? Please name those other sports that have huge Thursday attendances. Not that many even play on them.

| I admit I don't get to the DW that often, but it's definitely far more adults than kids. Besides, it should only really affect primary school age kids anyway. Maybe we shouldn't base the financial side of the sport on getting kids in - especially given their season tickets are £40? There's a huge amount of young adults (who don't worry about schoolnights) who have expendable income to burn. Blaming kids for poor attendance is just burying your head in the sand. "If you build it, they will come". Target the right people with the right product and you'll sell, no matter what the product is. Wigan - and to a lesser extent the sport in general - aren't offering the right product at the moment.

Good, dry night. Ideal for RL, a good indicator for our intentions tonight.'"
It went how I expected.
Dull to watch, poor discipline, clueless in attack played out in a soul-less stadium in front of bored home fans!
Top 8 secured, season over.

Deliberate offsides, constant interference in the ruck, ball strips, moving off the mark, play acting. You're absolutely awful to watch although you do bore sides to defeat on occassion

He did.
But you obviously only see what you want to see.
By the time Ratchford touched the ball, the video ref clearly showed that his legs were over the dead ball line so it was a perfectly correct decision.

And no other team do that? Both sides were penalised for all of that. In fact, now I think about it, Wire were penalised for a ball steal and Wigan weren't. So a comment like this;
Quote: Jake the Peg "wigan take cheating to a new level.'"
is a little overboard, no? I get that a lot of people don't like Wigan for one reason or another, but surely they're providing enough things to be critical enough without making things up too.
I can't argue with the boring comment but that's not against the rules of the game either.

This is bang on the money. My manager at work is a Man Utd fan and low and behold the only tickets he can easily get are Europa league games

| I loved the bit where Hiku lost the ball near the Wigan line, Bateman went in to pat him on the head, Hiku raised his arm and a melee broke out. Penalty reversed to Wire to make it 16-10. It highlights a previous comment. If Wigan got away from the niggley stuff and got on with trying to outscore the opposition there could be a decent side to watch.

| Sky gave the wrong centre man of the match. Hiku was quality. Well done Wire. And well done James Child as well, he had a filthy game to officiate and it was pleasing to see Bateman get penalised for being a house .

| Wigan and there tactics really annoy me. They could be a really good team to watch if they werent so niggly. Whether its chucking opponents boots away after they come off, Tomkins spraying the ball with water before taking a drop out. Hair pulling on Sims, Tomkins trying to lock in opponents arms by trapping them. Leaving knees in after a try and also in the tackle.
This win at all costs approach must come down through the coaching staff. If they tried to play rugby then they may fair a little better.
