| no report in the globe and mail yet but the preview features the following quote which is brilliant and a perfect way to describe the game. i might use this myself
"Rugby league’s tool box contains both a sledge hammer and a delicate paint brush. "

| Some of Rowleys quotes could have been from his Leigh reign 2 and 3 years ago.
"You can only get punched so many times"
"That's what you get when you mix amateurs with pros"
Arrogance anyone?

| Quote: HucknallLoiner "Find it a bit strange the BBC haven't yet reported on it seeing as it's one of the biggest moments for the game since introducing 6 tackles. They're quick enough to report on women's cricket.
Especially as they ran a report basically saying it wouldn't be a success a few weeks ago.'"
They're also quick enough to report on Bromwich & Proctor. 3 articles in 3 days on those two morons on the main BBC page.

There's a long, long way to go yet, but what they've achieved so far has been very impressive.
Their marketing has been unbelievable and puts many (if not all) SL clubs to shame. They've set up great business deals, especially the deal with Air Transat.
There's a huge amount SL clubs can learn from the way Toronto are doing things away from the pitch.

| Ive never seen an RL teams record described as 6-0-0 or 2-3-0 before as they do in American sports. I like it.

No way, the day I hear someone from the UK describe their team as having a "5 and Oh season" I will promptly headbutt the nearest wall. Repeatedly

If it helps sell the game over there and allows them to understand the game, then, why not ?
Dont hit the wall too hard

That was my thoughts too. I'm not trying to be anti-BBC or moaning about the media but if some cycling or gymnastics had had such a potentially game changing event happen I am be certain their would be a correspondent there. Clearly we still have a long way to go as I don't think Toronto vs Oxford could be further from the M62 stereotype that we keep being told holds us back with sponsorship and TV deals.

A Super League with a Canadian side and possibly 2 French sides must surely add a few % to the TV rights?
It would boost the international game too in time.
