they should really stop making those big, grandiose presentations at the end of cup finals...its very upsetting for all those fans who support the losing team....and stop putting coloured ribbons on cups...thats upsetting too.

I remember from various Cup Finals shots near the end of the now certain-to-be winners' colours getting tied to the trophy. Surely that must be just as humiliating for the team that is losing, so what are these sports doing to outlaw such sadistic practices, punish the miscreants, and offer suitable compensation to the thousands of fans who over the years, in many sports, must have been deeply and permanently traumatized by such inhuman and barbaric actions, that surely have no place in a civilized world etc etc

Anyone who thought it was "humiliating" should beat themselves repeatedly about the head with a heavy blunt object until their senses of perspective and humour is revived.

What's far more humiliating is when the beaten finalists are forced to walk up the steps and collect their losers medals whilst walking past the trophy they've just been beaten to.

Happens every year but not a squeak of protest from Saints fans. Which is ironic considering how many times their team has been forced to do it.

Got a feeling it may happen again on Friday and then to Cas on Saturday , but hey ,ho rather that happen to my club than finish 6th , that is humiliating
