No problem at all for me getting to the ground by train for an 8.00 p.m. k-o.
Getting back home however is a different kettle of fish. If I'd gone, I would have been home at 1.15 a.m. Friday, assuming no train delays or cancellations. May be OK for some people but not me. I stayed home.

How much do you owe to Hughes? How much has he written off?
What re the net liabilities in your balance sheet?
Without Hughes you would have been history long ago. With a Hughes we would still have been a major force.
You really are a total and complete embarrassment to the decent London fans - which from my experience is all of them except Lister and yourself.
IMO we need a London SL club and it is spot on to applaud and support the development work being done there. And it is also right to recognise the difficulties the club has faced in building up a support base.
It's just a pity that you two seem determined to attack those friends you have.

If I cared what "most readers" recognise, I wouldn't post on these boards
London owe their owner money, money he will never see again and he knows it. At no stage has the Club I support "begged" for cash to keep them afloat, using emotional blackmail so as to ilicit finds from a public that are in no way responsible for the situation the club finds itself in.
FWIW, Listy is a Leeds fans and therefore his "pops" at the Bulls are to be taken with a pinch of salt, whilst I am the no1 anti-fan in London who rarely has a good word to say about the way the club is run....difference being, I accept that it is BAD MANAGEMENT AND INEPTITUDE..........you blindly defend the Bulls even though it is patently obvious that the current situation is down to BAD MANAGEMENT AND INEPTITUDE.
As of April 8th 2012, London Broncos are not in debt and do not face a winding up order...Bradford Bulls on the other hand have conned 480k out of the public and will in all probability raise the first 500k needed to save thyem...for now, but the 2nd 500k won't be so easy to come by.....you've already sold the family silver

| See my post on another thread, to a far more sensible sceptical poster, which explains why you are wrong.
Lister posts in support on London on these forums, so that makes him a London fan.
I'd be a bit careful about throwing statements like "conned" around without proof. Libel and all that?

This!!
the fans that take joy @ seeing London struggle are pathetic trolls. Sit at their keyboards every week ready to have another blast at London Rugby League.

Bollox......I call it as I see it. Members of the public were told that Bradford Bulls would cease to exist if 500k wasn't raised...this is hogwash. The Holdong company would have flipped on it's debts..... the team been deducted points and continued to play in ESL under a new holding company and with a new owner.
You keep on nibbling and belive me, I'll keep on casting. For nearly 17 years London have been accused of being on backhanders from the RFL......never happened, but in the case of Bradford Bulls, it most definitely has.
Live within your means.....we didn't up to 2005 and paid the price......Wakey didn't as well and had to swallow the re-start..........is it because Bradford think such a route to salvation is "beneath them"?

NRL expansion? Sometime soon, maybe......:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_9857.jpg |

| It is embarrasing to see a top flight club getting sub 2k crowds but I take no joy in it and no should any true RL fan.
I don't see a SL presence in the capital for much longer TBH and I think that will be a real shame for the game.

I think Salford were the 88...I certainly thought that it was the smallest travelling support Salford had ever brought over to us, and probably the smallest apart from London and Les Cats
Maybe they all went to Bradford? Or stayed in to watch the Saints v Wigan derby?'"
Think you need your eyes testing mate. Not saying we travel in massive numbers but it was at least three times, maybe even four times that (one of your lot has actually given a number of over 400 - not sure where they get away fan numbers from though). Huddersfield were obviously expecting us to bring less because they had to open up more of the stand when we filled most of what was open.

You really are obsessed aren't you, over something that - when you get right down to it - has nothing to do with you and no direct bearing on you?
And over something that you really know little about.
I gather from reading this forum that that is the norm for you though, so I guess I should not get too wound up over it.
I must make a note to remember all this when Hughes finally decides everything has its limit. Do you have his successor lined up? Is he prepared to pump the same cash in?

as I said, the club I follow will have nobody to blame but themselves when they go under.....unlike Bradford, who will blame everyone other than themselves.
DH is a Saint...........he also needs his head examining, but once he's gone, that's it for London. 2k gates and no sponsors or revenue streams other than SKY TV and 30,000 tickets at a tenner all season.......makes you wonder as to the exact amount of ineptness and bad management that has gone on at Bradford to put them where they are now eh

Black Backgrounds/Zoot.gif Freedom for supporters of the government, only for members of one party - however numerous they may be - is no freedom at all. freedom is always and exclusively for one who thinks differently.

Peter Hood has stated that the pledges will only be activated if the club can raise the other £500k it needs to finish the season. I think it's time that Gutters had a little lie down.
