[quote="The Reason":3e09qe5x]Hi Andy
The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.

| Another bastion of our game showing the world what professional athleticism is all about. Not only was he very drunk, he's also eating McDonald's. He's paid to be a full time athlete for a living FFS, shouldn't be anywhere near a pub/bar or a McDonald's.
Could you ever imagine Adam Peaty or Mo Farah ever being that inebriated or seen in a McDonald's? And it's not even the off season, we're about 1/3 of the way through the season!
This is before even bringing up the foul lack of respect for the employee of the place. She did well not to throw the food at the little fat nice bloke.

| Alcohol affects people in different ways. Some people can't stop drinking. Some people just turn into complete idiots. Others can enjoy a drink, and sometimes a lot, without any real problem. It is clear that Albert isn't one of the latter, and if he wants to enjoy life and have a good career, he needs to accept it and give it up. That's just the way it is.
If he is contrite and apologetic, and perhaps embarrassed, deal with it as a disciplinary issue and issue a personal apology. If it is becoming a habit he can't control, time for some harsh words.

Given it was the day after a game, and more than a week before the next game, maybe they had that day set to be their 'Cheat Day' where they can eat what they want. After the Good Friday derby someone took a pic with Carlos Tumivave and he had a takeaway bag in hand, plus didn't Castleford have a table full of pizzas waiting for them in the changing room shown by Sky after they beat Leeds early last season?
If he chose to go their for his cheat day so be it but imagine most of us would choose better.

There was a rovers’ player’s blog about a typical match day routine at some point, and I think a post-match pizza was part of it. Unless I dreamt it. It was all about proper preparation and recovery, and when you think about it there’s nothing inherently wrong with bread, cheese and tomato, and they’ll burn a lot of calories playing.

I don't think the food calories were the problem. Be careful MR any more talk on the incident that never happened and you may be Deleted.

It has been dealt with, there is nothing wrong with McDonalds, his behaviour was totally unacceptavle. BUT most SL clubs would love him in their side!

| I guarantee every athlete eats bad food from time to time - it's important, mentally, to stray from your routine. I seem to recall Usain Bolt saying he basically lived on chicken nuggets during the 2012 olympics. Calories are calories, and when they're accounted for around the rest of their diet and nutrition and especially when they're build around a rest day (which will be a few days post match anyway) it won't affect performance either.

Hardly, if you don't want to have your identity known, then leaving it in your posts makes you an idiot!
