| Apologies if it's posted already.

The shirt also remembers Rovers greatest player who we know sadly passed away earlier this year.
Quote www.hullkr.co.uk="www.hullkr.co.uk"All adult replica home shirts next season will have the number 6 sublimated onto the back of the shirt as part of the design, whilst Roger Millward’s name will feature as part of the finer detail on the inside of the collar.
Across the lower back of the shirt, there’s also a quote from Roger about his adoring fans: “Never forget the people who love you – the supporters.”'"

| I couldn't care less what any kit looks like, but full credit to Wakefield for resuming their correct name and ditching the Super League era tag on.
I will concede that "Bulls" and "Rhinos" are moderately tolerable, but with the exception of those two, every club should have done what Wakefield just have long ago.

| Quote Slugger McBatt="Slugger McBatt"I predict Wakefield to have the best home kit (let us win something!). I've not seen the full kit, but the ditching of "Wildcats" and the reversion to the traditional badge, with increased emphasis on heritage, suggests it will be very retro and traditional, which always go down well.
The slight snippets that have been revealed also suggest it will look a bit like a Great Britain shirt, with red and blues V's, which was the Wakefield shirt through some of the sixties.
Revealed this Saturday, it seems.'"
I'm jealous! I don't know a single Wire fan who wants Warrington to have "Wolves" in our name and i've never met a single Wire fan who refers to the club by "Wolves" in any way shape or form. When there was a bit of news coming out a while back about a possible re-branding and the leak the "The Wire" was going to be part of it, we all got excited thinking "Wolves" would be dropped and all it was was a new badge.

I care to be honest mate as it's a representation of the club, just like the badge and the name and the stadium.

| Quote Solly="Solly"As with many other shirts (probably our own included) the amount of Sponsors on it spoil a good shirt.
You do get the odd one that doesn't look like a Formula One jacket, nice clean and simple unfortunately in our sport you need all the sponsorship you can get.'"
Indeed. Look at the Aussie shirt for this Four Nations, it looked dead classy with no sponsors on to ruin it.

It does make you wonder how much money teams get from some of the smaller sponsors that clutter shirts doesn't it? We have a scaffolding firm as our main sponsor this year and it is apparently our most lucrative deal ever. Considering we have had P&O Ferries before which is an international company you do have to wonder how much the scaffolding firm is giving. Or how little we got out of the ferries.

| I'd obviously prefer Wires to have decent kits than bad ones (the new ones are okay) but we won the 2010 Challenge Cup in an awful one and it didn't bother me too much!
The name is far more important and like you I'm still feeling let down by last year's re-brand because I thought we were going to do what Wakefield just have and we didn't. There won't be another one for a while so that was an opportunity wasted.
I cringe when I see someone call us "Wolves" on here. If I heard anyone say it in real life I'd be gobsmacked. In 19 years it's never happened though.

I do think in some cases it works - Castleford adopted the 'Tigers' tag in 1992 I believe which was 4 years before SL, based on their nickname/colours. And I think the name lends itself very well to the general branding of the club.

It seemed like it was a constant battle to keep Trinity in the name. When Steve Ferres was in charge during the John Kear era, I understand that he wanted to ditch Trinity altogether and just use Wildcats, and on one occasion Trinity was missed off the badge "in error". A lot of media outlets didn't use Trinity at all, but the owner back then knew what the fans thought and insisted on keeping Trinity despite the rather clunky three-barrelled name. Now, I'm glad we endured the awkward name, as it only ever became about ditching one aspect.
I get the impression that it is this one step that has excited people most of all, as well as reverting to the old badge. The mascot is still there for the kids, and "Wildcats" will be used a kids thing, which is all it was fit for anyway.

Yeah Wakey's kits are always covered in smaller sponsors. It's not aesthetically great but every little helps and I suppose we are building links with local businesses which could lead to hospitality packages sold, functions, xmas parties etc.
In fairness as well, I'm pretty sure no one really buys their teams replica to look sharp, I buy at least 1 shirt a year to help the club out.
