| Rugby League needs to attract more fans that can pay £70 without thinking about it, people who have money aren't better than those who do not, but we need money to spend on facilities, coaches, and development officers for young players.
Internationals are our blue chip product, the ashes and World Cups should be the way we fund our future, if we have one...

| Is it just me that is having problems with the RLWC website? Trying to reset my password and by the time I receive their reset link it tells me it has expres, repeatedly! Seems they don5 want to sell tickets.

| Am I correct in thinking if that results go to expectation, the semis should be:
Australia v England at Elland Road; and
New Zealand v Tonga at Arsenal?
Would appreciate confirmation.

| Quote: Dally "I used to always get the most expensive tickets until that World Cup Final at OT years ago. We were given the worst seats in the house and then they let people in on the day for £10 to try to boost the crowd and they had great seats. After that I’ve always bought cheaper tickets on principle.'"
The last England test at the KCOM had a poorer than expected crowd because the Marketing was poor but it was also noticable that the expensive £50 seats on the half way line were empty. The KCOM is a modern ground with no poor views amd we're canny with our cash in Yorkshire so most saved £10 or £20 and sat nearer the ends.

Are you sure? The website doesn’t show the numbers of the QFs so I went by the order they were written in.

I used Wikipedia, I think they have made an 'Englands Route to the final' thing before though.

Rlfans - the most toxic rugby league forum in the world: |
|
| Quote: Asgardian13 "I've bought tickets for quite a few games, including Wheelchair at Copper Box as that is not a huge venue and didn't want to miss out. The price structure overall is quite reasonable. Union world cup top-tier tickets topped £200 in some venues, and we all know what soccer wants when it comes to prices. Clearly many folk won't want to pay £70 plus but that's why there is a range. Plus the 'bundles' also make it cheaper. Lastly, big congratulaitons on putting the tickets on sale so far out. This is by a long way the best organised RLWC to date.'"
I’m not bothered about the men’s games as they will all be poor quality but I’m really interested in the wheelchair games. Going to have a look into that

| Impressed to see an advert during the 6Nations on ITV and it was what I'd call a 'proper advert' with some RL action, and showing different groups of fans not just Northern middle aged men.
Better than the 2013 effort that appeared about a week before and was some arty effort of players spinning rugby balls.

| Just got sent a link for 'presale' tickets and while there was a warning that prices would increase at the end of 2020, have they lost their minds??
To sit in my usual seat at the KCOM (one block from the half way line) its £70 for Australia-Fiji! No OAP concessions either...good luck selling that in a city never flush with cash in a pandemic.

ALAW MOT: |

| Quote: wigsey "I think there are some really poor venue choices there. Middlesbrough, Coventry, Sheffield, Newcastle, Liverpool, Arsenal. Too many novelty expansion venues. Also Elland Road has a Wooden seated stand with pillars obscuring views. It was a good stadium in the 1980's it's really not now.
Going to be very hard to sell tickets given that many people will wait until the current Covid situation becomes clearer before investing in more tickets that potentially are money down the drain.'"
There is no wooded seated stand at Elland Road. You must be mistaken it for Headingley’ s old North stand. It’s still a good stadium.

Depends what you call good when the Aussies ripped us a new one at elland road we had some disgusting seats that was way too closed to the row in front of us and was digging into my knees, so uncomfortable we said we'd never return to that stand

| Tickets are on general sale and yet you still cannot specify where you want to sit, I am amazed that when being asked to spend such a decent whack you could end up sitting somewhere you would not want to, I bought tickets for the last three world cups the day they went on sale, but for now at least I have decided not to bother. What a shame they decided to sell tickets in such a strange way.
