Yes it did I know Gary and is family he is a relative of my wife he and is family now live in New Zealand is sun I believe is now a coach in rugby league and doing well but we have not seen him for years so can not confirm it

He coached Hull RU for a while, came to FC as kicking coach (although rumour has it the club didn't pay him what he was due)

So, just to be clear, the legal tackle didn't end his career as he went on to play for York & Scarborough into his 30s? I wouldn't wish that on anyone but Pearce wasn't good enough to play top level RL, which I would suggest is as much a reason. Gibbs was one of the most destructive players I have seen. Catalans Dragons forward Kenny Edwards has been cleared of a charge of crowd incitement.

The New Zealander was accused by the Rugby Football League of inciting fans at the end of a tempestuous Super League match between the Dragons and Warrington in Perpignan last Saturday.

The match was marred by fighting on and off the pitch as tempers flared at the Stade Gilbert Brutus and Edwards was seen at one point being restrained by his club captain Remi Casty.
