I'm confident to put a lot of money on the MPG not been a replay of last years game Do you know a bookies that will let me put a bet on it?

Was looking online for bookies odds but can't seem to find any? They priced it after 1st and 2nd rounds but haven't seen anything since.

For me as it stands, in the current form of the clubs over the past 4 games I'd say the final table could look something like this;

1. Warrington
2. Widnes
3. Hull KR
4. Catalans
5. London
6. Leigh
7. Featherstone
8. Halifax

With home advantage in the MPG then I think Catalans would win a closely fought game

All depends on points difference really with Leigh +56 on Catalans

Catalan could be without Walsh this weekend v Featherstone. Bird has been banned for four matches so his season is over.

Warrington and Hull KR now sealed in the super league next season.

London v Halifax tomorrow is a big game in terms of Londons chances for the MPG.

If London beat Widnes & Catalan beat Hull KR. We could have two MPG the week before the actual MPG, Catalans v Widnes (for third place) & London v Leigh. (For fifth place).

If Catalan are beaten by Hull KR & London beat Widnes, the final week could be London & Leigh fighting for fourth place if Catalan are beaten by Widnes, the loser of London v Leigh would drop to sixth!

It could even be huge if Halifax were to beat London & Leigh. They'd be up to four points going into a final week of London v Leigh & Halifax v Featherstone.

Hull KR and Warrington no longer have anything to play for. I hope and pray that Catalans will beat Hull KR next week and Widnes the following week. That will make Catalans automatic retainers of a Super League spot.

The big hope then for expansionists will be for London to keep winning after tomorrow and then to make and win the MPG (a tough assignment of course).

If all of this were to happen then Warrington, and Catalans would retain their Super League spots, and Hull KR and London would be promoted, with Leigh and Widnes being relegated. What a joyful outcome that would be for cosmopolitan lovers of the game of rugby league, such as myself.

Bird has had his sentence reduced to three games, so his season is not necessarily over. Luke Walsh is fit.

He is, but I wouldn't mind that outcome in all honesty.

Well, here is my prediction.

Warrington to finish 7/7
Hull Kr even in party mode to smash an absolute pish poor Catalans and finish 6/7
Widnes to stay up 5/7
Leigh to beat Fax but lose to London 3/7
Catalans to lose both games and play Leigh due to a poor for and against
London 2-1-5. Lose to Widnes but get their rewards v Leigh
Fax 1/6. Been unlucky fax but will pick up their win against Fev
Fev to stay on 1 point.

Probably more twists and turns and the ability to grind out games for HKR being the difference without being outstanding.
London unlucky and Leigh in some aspects as they deserved more against Warrington. Stay in that vain and they will be ok.

Personally, I'd rather play Catalans in France. What they dished up today was total tripe!
