I believe that warning came after certain clubs were warned about their grounds or lack of.......I believe the lates one is designed to placate the unlucky team come ejection weekend!

Nope....though it wouldn't hurt.
London being in ESL is about SKY TV and in turn, SKY TV's advertising revenue. There are not many NATIONAL advertisers who will pay GOOD money to advertise during a game that doesn't have a presence in the CAPITAL CITY. I have no doubt that London being in ESL makes not one jot of difference to viewing figures in the South East.......but it's what the advertiser wants that is important.

But (and this is actually a serious question GF icon_eek.gif icon_lol.gif ) didn't top-flight RL ever get shown in London pubs and bars during the winter era?

I think all teams inside the heartlands should be thrown out of super league and be replaced by expansion teams, then run two seperate competitions and then we in the heartlands can concentrate on watching rugby league and the expantionists can create a new sport ala 1895.

Their pitiful crowds will always be overlooked
