Short term , no , long term , probably yes , it most certainly is something to be worried about , any club , big or small that needs that amount of external input is at risk |

But who cares about Soccer ? , it is RL we are discussing here , Soccer clubs seem to attract financial backers who dont have any previous contact with the clubs,towns or even the sport , that doesn't happen in RL , and is unlikely to happen in the near future [ and quite often is not a good thing anyway as it makes clubs lazy ] |

all RL clubs in australia barring 2 lose money.
not many sporting clubs around the world make money do they.

Good grounds will attract new fans but it is success on the field that will maintain it. It is not bloody rocket science to know that if you can be under cover if it rains, can have a after a beer, have enough reasonably priced SEATS that some people wil be more inclined to go to a game.
In terms of away games i take my little ones to Hull / wigan but would never take them to cas or wakey or HKR as much as i enjoy going there.
