Yes, their needs to be a third option for the VR, to make it his call - without being affected by the "refs call".
Although I'm also in favour of some conversation between the ref and VR during the replays, after all, they are on the same side and getting the call right should be the only outcome that matters and I would be equally happy that, having viewed the replays, the ref could say ok, it's a try/ no try. |

You may be missing the fact this this was the FOURTH time we've played Wigan this season. Previous Wire following at DW and Anfield, plus the home game, were top notch. THis is why loop games are such a bad idea. It's even possible we will play Wigan for a fifth time in the play-offs. Oh, and, no, I wasn't there last night, but I do live 140 miles away. |

I've said in previous games Thaler orchestrates on Sky if it's Kendall Moore or Mouskas on VR they are loath to overturn their bosses on field decision whatever the slo mo's show. Scared of upsetting the senior man.
