You were a one season wonder and no, one win does not mean classy Cas are back.

Yet apparently Saints are back? Even though they haven't won a trophy since 2014?

Can't spake for the others but Leeds's race is run for this year and has been for a while. We'll still turn in the odd good result, same as most teams do, but unlike many seasons these won't be in the games that matter. A meaningless (for us) win next week against saints would tick the box.

Not sure that anything can be read into last night's wire - cas game - it was simply too far removed from a high-intensity, low-error fixture to draw any conclusions as to who has the better prospect of silverware.

I said that Saints are back playing well and challenging at the top but nice try. As for Wakefield, well, they were never there in the first place.

Bollocks, you said Saints were back that's why other fans were bitter, yet you're giving Cas the same y comments you whine about.

As for Wakefield yes they were - back in 1967.

3 years ago? Sport is cyclical but please remind me when wakefield ever won anything except worst stadium in the league award

Saints will burn out by the end of the season, just like Cas did last year.

The big problem with this is, despite your best attempts at trying to convince yourself otherwise, at no point have I said the words ‘Saints are back’ or any words to that effect. What I have said is ‘Saints are back playing well’ in reference to rival fans jealousy. Unfortunately for you there is a big difference between the two.

I took the reference as Saints were back to there entertaining style of rugby.

In terms of Saints being back to competiveness they havent really been away they are the only side in 20 years to be in every play off.

At the moment Cas, Wire and Saints are a joy to watch most of the time, if these teams finish in the top 3 hopefully it will rub off onto the other teams to play an expansive passing game.
