Saints/Wigan is the biggest derby,the two most successful clubs in British RL,just my opinion like.

Saints v Wigan is usually enjoyable as a neutral, simply down to the quality of rugby that is (usually) on display.

The Hull derby is a good experience, because it's the only real derby and there tends to be a fair bit of emotion involved from both sets of fans and players.

Cas v Wakey is enjoyable for the supporters - not sure it is for anyone else though.

Although all derby matches can be excellent.
The Hull derby is a real mouth watering fixture.
The two clubs are well supported and being from the same city the passion from the 2 sets of supporters is unequalled.
Bulls/ Leeds has lost its sparkle since the Bulls crown slipped.
Wigan and Saints can be a great spectacle and Wakey/Cas has plenty of emotion without being top drawer entertainment.
Sadly Salford /Huddersfield and London / Catalan seem to just make up the numbers and Warrington / Widnes are not well enough matched at the moment.

Seems that Bradford can only pull a 20k crowd for the derby if they get the begging bowl out or they're playing well.
Apart from one game in 2007, it seems Leeds fans are caring less and less about beating Bradford these days also.

As for entertainment, many of those games were walkovers. How is that entertainment guaranteed?

In SKY tv eyes Wigan v saints is the biggest as EVERY SL game has been broadcast disrespect of where the teams are in the league, there have been numerous games between Bradford v Leeds have not been broadcast by our paymaster and last year oand the year before the Hull derby was not on tv

Very little passion in Bradford v Leeds. Very little passion in any Bulls game to be fair.

For me, Wigan v Saints is always going to be the best.

Do we have to have this discussion every year.

In my (probably biased view) each derby has it's own claims.
Wigan v Saints, traditionally a better game for the neutral but diluted because of other rivalries and general success and also the way that one team seems to have ran away with it in recent times
Leeds v Bradford, normally a decent clash but the weakest of the 4 imo
Cas v Wakey, traditionally evenly matched teams but low attendances and lack of quality are drawbacks
Rovers v Hull, normally not the best quality game but I don't think it can come close to be matched for sheer derby emotion from both players and fans. I genuinely believe that people who do not live in Hull don't understand the emotion of the weeks before and after the games take place.

The best games in SL over the past few years have been Wire v Wigan games, a different level to any other.

it hasn't become one, but the dislike between wigan fans and wire fans have become derby like. it seems there is a new topic open every day on are boards about little tiny things that become 19 page threads all because each set of fans are trying to get the better of each other.

Wigan are only just up the road from us,so imo opinion it's a derby,and it's the best one right now.

Warrington and St Helens are neighbouring towns so it's a derby. And this is the second biggest one for me.

Widnes are supposed to be a derby match of ours. But it's only a big game for 'Vikings' fans thesedays. For us, it's just another fixture.
