Hopefully so.
I just find it a bit odd that they'd showcase plans of "their" stadium on BBC with different coloured seats after being in the planning process for what appears to be a generation!

| I think you will end up sharing it. It will need to be functioning all year round. Hopefully it will be F.C. United in the winter, not the dreaded Sale Sharks. I reckon it would be good for the game if Swinton played there on your alternate weekends, but I think they are hoping for a stadium of their own.

If that is the case why spend money on a stadium that will be used a maximum of 16 weeks per years!!!
What do you do with it the MAJORITY of the time?
Let it rot away?
One day, and it won't be that far away, the penny will drop with some, that ground sharing is the ONLY COST EFFECTIVE use of resources.
Those whose head is stuck up their own stupidity will suffer.

Do you actually listen? I just said, the seats won't actually be green.

FC United are building their own development at Ten Acres Lane, Newton Heath.
And for those bothered about seat colours, do you have the same opinion on the blue seats in the Galpharm & DW stadiums?

The seats are blue at those stadiums (as well as claret/cherry) because they share with teams that play in blue. So there's a reason behind it.

| Very few teams play green. Perhaps this colour scheme is to aid those viewers pud-pulling over the number of empty seats each week at opponents games?

Yeah, i heard that off my mate today who's from Newton Heath (posh lad! ) I would just rather another RL club be in there than any chance of Sale Sharks. Swinton are after doing a stadium of their own too. I wouldn't worry about two teams sharing through the summer on a modern pitch. LSV had 2 football teams through last winter and RL on there from Feb onwards and it was still in great nick.
On the subject of seat colours, the worst one was the Stobart Stadium with its pinky red and grey/green seats. I think they have changed a lot of them and the Black/Red/White looks a millkion times better.

how dare you! i will have you know that the seats at the stobart stadium were orginally what might be called 'magenta' with blue and green trims. no grey anywhere in that ground and that was because the council built it, most council related stuff is green and blue. and we ended up with the purple stuff, as it was intended as a 'community' stadium, with a neutral feel. ruling out black, white and red on our part and yellow in the case of Runcorn FC.
oh and while we are on the subject, England Rugby Union play in all white, but twickers....................green seats.
doesnt really mean anything.
