| As A rovers fan I have no interest in the game at all now. Welham & Yeaman should be in there on pure form alone. If they are not picked then they should give up any pretence that form is a criteria. There are arguments for picking club combinations to work together but picking players to play out of position ahead of specilaists ie Sinfield at No 6 or 9 or Joel Tompkins at centre, he would be OK as back row player who could drop into the if there is an injury in the course of play but he would not get into the side ahead of other better back row forwards. Also why is Ben Galea & Micheal Dobson not even in the frame for the exiles ? At least Rovers will have a full week to prepare for leeds with no disruption so at least I can take some comfort there & can do somthing else Friday as I wont be watching the match.

| Quote: Hartster "I think it should practically an England 'A' side myself.'"
in a ideal world the 'A' side (knights) should be playing either wales or france as a curtain rasier to fridays game
Quote: Hartster "The full side won't get any real benefit, nor will the game as a whole.'"
quite the opposite actually the full side will benefit loads from having a tough battle rather than a half d hit out against france
Quote: Hartster "For development purposes I'd much rather see England playing the French or Welsh full test sides.'"
development for who? the full england side have gained nothing in hammering the french mid season the past 3-4 years....we are penciled in to play them at the end of the season,it gives us a hit out before the 4 nations and the french are likely to be at full strength, injuries permitting...a win/win for both sides...french are also gonna play the knights, scotland & samoa iirc...the french will learn far more about their game in those series of games than they would sticking out a half strength side mid season against england .
Quote: Hartster "Looking back to the last 4N it was individual erros that cost England, that's not necessarily skills coaching but concentration and mental focus which should be drilled into players from an early age.'"
i think what alot of people are also forgetting is the injuries we got while on tour...
i think we are heading in the right direction in regards to the players.....whats letting us down is McNamara...in fact i'd sack him and give the job to nathan brown

| England have called up Michael McIlorum for Friday's match against the Exiles. The Wigan hooker replaces the injured James Roby.

You're talking about English rugby league fans. The most negative combination imaginable.

Yeah i see what you mean there, for me theres no point even playing international as we only get let down each and every world cup/test,s etc.
Ohh well its worth the watch of a rugby match i supose.

You mean the type who saying we are crying out for a game against a non-England eligible side. Who subsequently bemoan the fact when it occurs, decrying the squad selection, too?
Nah, you're way off.

This squad has an average age under 30 and a total of over 200 international caps between them
If England win this game it will be a good result

Fa'alongo & Puletua to start, Leuluai bench, Soliola or Morrison 18th man.
I can only assume Steve Menzies & Michael Monaghan have knocks or gave word that they didn't want to play this. That or Brian McLennan is a Kiwi...

Whoops, I missed him. He can play instead of Morrison then.
