You cant blame anyone for playing the system but, this system is just wrong on so many levels.
For the RFL to contrive a system when relegation comes down to the last 80 minutes of the season, every season, may make exciting viewing for impartial armchair viewers, is flawed.
We have 21 regular rounds, plus 7 more "super 8" games and yet "we" still want one more game, why ??
Of course, cup finals are "all or nothing" events but, the cost of losing is not quite so severe.
(I agree that it would be great for Trinity to play a full season although, there would be some very unhappy supporters (of other clubs) if they did
