With P & R would Widnes be able to stick to there X year plan to build. No they would now be panicking and bringing in players.

As would London who are currently playing far to many youngsters, which is there stated strategy to bring through Londoners

The point here is what a new investor would want by way of a return.
If is was purely to save the Bulls from extinction, then maybe someone who had the resources may invest for "sentimental" reasons.
However, if there was someone waiting in the wings with serious cash to invest, it would be unlikely that they would want to do this, knowing that their path to the top flight was blocked.
The type of folk that can invest large amounts of cash would have to be successful business people (or lottery winners) and successful people are usually ambitious and surely if they were throwing cash at a professional sports organisation, they would want to aim for the top.

I watched the show & while I agree with Stevo no big backer would want the club outside the top flight, did any one else hear the remark from one of the others saying that under the old directors Bradfords local Companys have avoided the club & with a different regime even in the lower divisions they might well come in & help re build the club?

I am thoroughly glad fax are in the championship, a more competitive environment and bar games between wigan, leeds, warrington, st helens i find many of the games in SL quite boring and lacking in quality. I used to thoroughly enjoy SL but in its current format i can't raise the slightest interest which is quite worrying to say i would call myself a 'rugby league' fan and SL is supposed to be the pinnacle of our countrys domestic sport

I agree with franchising but the licence applications need to be less cloak and dagger and more open to the public.

I don't agree with franchising, but I could accept it if it were a transparent process. It quite simply is not as it stands.
