Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good

Wigan v Wire.... best super league game for quite a few years. Had everything, including what was in my opinion the try of the season.

From a biased POV either the Wigan v Saints game at the DW Stadium or Wire v Saints game at the HJ Stadium (both ended 26-24).
But, I thought the Wigan v Leeds game last week in the Play Offs was sensational and probably gets the overall vote.

Yeah,,That was one of the games i went to..Cracking game,and i think the whole game turned when i think it was a FC forward absloutly clattered into Roby,,(think it was O"Meeley),You could sense the Hull team getting a massive lift from that. |

Super League, the Wigan v Leeds game had everything last week. Batley's win against Widnes in the cup was a cracker and the West Tigers v Sydney Roosters game was what the play offs are all about. From a Rovers point of view, got to be the play off derby win against that lot.

The game at the HJ was a much better spectacle, though as Warrington won, I can see why you like that game. Think of it more as picking a game which you could show to a non RL fan and they'd go "Wow".
That is why I suggest the Wire vs Wigan at HJ early this season. |
