I doubt many people had heard of this channel before this deal was announced. Its not even available for the millions of Virgin Media subscribers in the UK.

The AFL is shown by one of the world's leading sports broadcasters in ESPN, as well as Eurosport, whilst Sly Sports show the Super 14.

I think this would support the argument of the marginalisers if anything. TBH I'm just annoyed that I won't be able to watch the NRL unless it moves on to a major sports channel.

I have spoken to Sky this morning to make sure my day off work tomorrow isnt spoiled by getting up & seeing a blank screen at 8.25am, like the one I saw when I did a test recording of Gaelic football the other night....

Sky said they had no details about it & that it was something to do with Setanta, so I rang Ireland and it is nothing to do with them either.

Does anyone have any more info?

So does anyone know if you can get this on Virgin cable (I have Sky Sports + ESPN package)?
