To all those people who critisized this team...tonight's for you.

| Why not sneakily swap your black and white shirt for a red and white shirt and tell everyone that you supported Rovers from being a baby?
Seriously though, life as an under-performing Hull FC fan must realy suck at the moment when there's a prospect of a Rovers Cup and GF double.

| A winger to replace Calderwood.
A centre to replace play with the winger to replace Calderwood.

I'd rather rip myself a new a-hole then ever turn into a wood work KR fan like the majority of the fans. I dont recall them getting 9,000 crowds when they were in League 1?
I love Hull FC, and even though we are going through a pretty rough patch at the moment, I know when our board finally have the balls to actually bring in a new coach and some decent players, ill be around to see us contend for the title again.
Hull have had more success in the past 4 years then more then half of Super League in the same period of time...more then Rovers have done.

That makes about as much sense as Paul Cooke's drinking habits.

| Power & Pace in the centres, a scrum half (Horne should have been made the first choice full back years ago, but now because he's had to play in just about every position in the backs, he's nothing more than a good utility player).
Most of all the coaching staff need to go Sharp & Agar are useless. Hull's structure in attack and defense is awful, and they look spineless at times.

Im still holding onto the theory of 'they are playing 5hit BECAUSE they're drinking', but you may have a point!

A winger with speed is good, but only when they've got the upper body strength to carry them forward.
Calderwood is so easily dragged back on the first few tackles when he plays first receiver.
It's like watching Waine Pryce again for us, when he was picked up (when it was allowed) by the Salford attack and carried 20m and dumped back down over his own goal-line.
You have to ask, what use is speed without a) an open field and b) the service.
Since he left Leeds Calderwood has been average, if that.

| I don't think many Hull fans would pick out Calderwood as a problem in the side. His effort from marker, chasing kicks and desire to get his hands on the ball, (mainly in our own 20 ) are unquestionable.
Due to his stature, his defence is never going to be as strong as a winger twice his size, but he makes up for it in other ways. Over the last six years we've had Colin Best, Blacklock and Sing on that wing, none of whom where man mountains. The problem is that he never gets the ball in dangerous areas.
It's obvious what we need; A new coaching set up from top to bottom, a scrum half (even a mediocre one like Robinson would make all the difference), a big prop forward, centre, a leader (perhaps Fitzgibbon will fill this void?).

So tell me Einstein, which clubs do you know of who have had the same level of support in a lower league than they get in the top flight? I don't suppose you could tell me FC's average gate in 1999?

I'd often see Billy an hour later sharing a beer with his rival, with both blokes sporting half a dozen stitches in their scones. “We will not accept a top eight finish as a barometer of supposed success at any point in the future whilst I am the owner of this club.
Thats why you got the Bullet Agar...Adam Pearson wants winners...not useless gits like you.

So your judging it on 1 performnce you have seen him "live".

| I felt for Richard Horne last night - he is without doubt a quality player but he's holding back the tide like King Canute in that Hull side at the minute.
Hull need to give Danny Houghton an extended run at hooker and partner Horne with Berrigan in the halves. With Carvell gone and Manu injured there's no-one to break tackles when Thackray is off the field.
The rest of the side can be built around the foundation of an explosive ball carrier and an organiser at 7.
