Just playing devils advocate here;
If an overweight player had gone over and he said do they let 'fat gets' into Swinton would we be seeing something similar? Im just curious as to where the line is. Is the line, don't poke jokes or have a dig at people, or are there 'no go areas', possibly race, sexuality.....Just curious

The line would be saying something overwhelmingly loaded with reference to historical persecution and oppression. Treating someone like a 2nd class human based on the colour of their skin.
If he has said that to someones face, imagine what he says behind closed doors and imagine what he thinks is acceptable.
He is a disgrace and should be kicked out of the game. |

there’s a big difference between someone’s weight or someone’s skin colour, in that one person chooses to be overweight or at least they can do something about it if they want, someone can’t choose being white or black (Michael Jackson aside). |

I'm not aware of, historically, overweight people being hung, enslaved or disenfranchised. I do not think you were just playing devil's advocate either. You think it's political correctness gone mad. |

The Tribunal then determine if the Club or individual concerned is guilty of an offence and what the appropriate sanction should be. Sanctioning decisions are made pursuant to the Off-Field Sentencing Guidelines.
Sanctions can include:
Warnings
Fines
Suspensions
Stadium bans
Sporting Sanction, e.g. point deductions.
