Have to say, there are a great deal of people to lay the blame at the feet of for this......
Just received a text saying the club have 10 days to find a way out of this hole....as a London fan I have mixed feelings about them surviving as they are, or a total re-birth from lower down the leagues.

if you do fold and are reborn in championship one there will be some nice derbies I think I would enjoy that more if I was a London fan in the short term anyway |

This may be the only way a buyer can be found to take on the club debt free.
Awful for those owed money by the club.
If they are re-formed then as said a SL points deduction awaits.

I'd say a 6 point deduction is the least of any potential new London Clubs problems , considering they dont have a team, much back room or a guaranteed stadium to play in

With the difference being Cas actually own their facility and so make money from it instead of squatting, and so guess what they have never been in administration. |

10 days....David Hughes has invested close to 10,000,000 of his own cash into the RFL's and SKY TV's desire to have a club in London and yet he has to force their hand to get anything done.
London Broncos, if they start 2014 in SL will do so with a 6 point deduction and could in all probability finish o that number of points 27 rounds later.
Whilst Mr Hughes has made some god awful decisions and appointments over the years, if London drop out of SL, then I would suspect that any goodwill delivered from the RLWC as a "national/international" event will be blown out of the water.....12 or possibly 13 clubs from the M62 and a token French side is not going to attract the 'revenues" that the RFL have been too busy to look into.....a sad day for the game in the UK.

As i understand it according to player contracts etc we are still in the 2013 season (this is why on the team sheets for England Rangi Chase is still down as a Castleford player). As London have gone into administration now, wouldn't the points be deducted from last seasons total? What's the point? Unless you are a Salford fan. |
