| 10 Days to avoid liquidation according to reports.
Doesn't give them long to find the cash, hope they make it though.

| They will need to find new buyers in 10 days. Even if a new buyer was found, surely the processes would take longer than 10 days anyway?
Just boot them out, clear the decks, sell the ground to Tesco and move on.

| The trouble is all of their best players who other clubs might be interested in are youngsters. Bateman, Whitehead, Burgess, Crookes etc. If these all leave it will rip the heart out of the team for the forseeable future.

That's unfortunately what bad management does.
It would be better to sell some with a mind to keeping the younger ones to play and develop.
The best players, whether young or not are the best assets. The administrator will start there.

| Wakefield lost a few talented youngsters when in admin. It's tough. They just have to get on with it.

| So if the Bulls find an investor and survive, when would they get their points deduction? This season or next season? The reason i'm asking is that currently there is a 6 point gap between 9th and 10th and if they received the deduction this season or went out of business, you could almost say that the top eight is sorted for this year. There would have to be one hell of a run of good or bad form from in and out of the play off positions for it to change and would make a lot of the games pointless contests.

Usually the deduction would take place in the "current" season, but who knows ?
Lets hope that the situation has some sort of happy ending although you have to ask questions about the pledge's that were taken only a few weeks ago etc etc.

Points deduction will apply to this season, they will probably get four points, not sure how the RFL work out the penalty though?

I'm hoping this is a case of an Administrator taking an extremely pessimistic initial stance to lower expectations before miraculously finding an unpalatable solution sometime next week. The club claimed that they had sourced a possible £800k last week but needed another £400k. Its possible that the potential backers are waiting for that shortfall to be wiped out by the Administration process. But it doesnt look great.

If they survive & a buyer comes on board, which I think will happen, then they will get a points deduction and it will be this year. Likely to be at least four points but I think in the Bulls case it will be 6 points.

I think, unlike Wakey & Cru that it will probably be 6 points because they have gone into admin mid-season as opposed to the closed season.

The one glimmer of hope is that the would be new investor(s) didnt want to throw cash in to try and fill a massive void and that instead, they want the club without debts, so that they can start from a level base.
As an outsider looking in, you would think that a RL club with 10000+ fans should be able to continue and for the sake of their fans, lets hope the do.
