| would echo the above, then include Leeds in the disappointing category (being a season ticket holder) and possibly Castleford, who i was expecting to kick on under Millward but they just seem to be stale. The two Hull clubs are both on the verge of being very competitive, akin to Catalans this year.

| London without doubt the biggest disapointment. When they played Wigan I thought they were fairly competitive and played much better than I expected. Christ knows whats happened there. Also Cas are going backwards.

| On and Off the Pitch, London Broncos are in turmoil.
The recently announced "review" of things gone wrong on the pitch, coincided with the departure of the commercial manager as well as the marketing and Communications manager.
A quick headcount of the back office team with no connection to the team would show a CEO, a marketing intern and a dance manager.... rlhttps://www.londonbroncosrl.com/theclub/lbrl/staff.phprl.....for a professional sporting company with a turnover of over 3.5 million a year that is a sign of things being "wound down"
Given the CEO went on record and blamed the poor attendances and failure to attract sponsors on the dire performance of the team, I find it puzzling that the Coach is still there, but the 2 people responsible for putting bumbs on seats and cash in the till are now gone.
I will be very happy, but absolutely stunned if the London SL franchise is there in 2013.......

| Well I predicted Saints for top spot and Wakey to break into the 8. Other than that everything is how I expected it to be.
I can only really speak for Wigan players so I'll say that Hock, Lima, Hansen, McIlorum and Finch are impressing me on a weekly basis whilst Goulding is proving me wrong each week as I didn't see him as a centre.
Anthony Gelling is showing some good and bad touches. His workrate and commitment are superb and if he can learn from his mistakes then he'll be a top player.
The only real disappointment I can have is that of Lauaki. I just don't see it personally.

| We have done very well. Played all the tough away games already on Hull, Hudds, Wigan, Leeds, Catalan away already. we have also breezed through a few games with pretty much a second string team to rest players.
A+ for us.

I like you as a poster mate but you're dead wrong on Gelling, is he absolutely awful. it is okay to criticize your own players. Makes Kevin Penny look like Greg Inglis.

As I said, his workrate is superb. He regularly comes inside looking for work and taking the pressure off the forwards. He doesn't make two many defensive clangers but he does make mistakes going forward. So far it hasn't cost us but I guess it could. Alternatively, if he learns from those - ie, he pins his ears back when he's in space - then personally I think we'll have a good player.
As for slagging our own players, as I said, Lauaki is shi*e.

He isn't and like myself were better placed to make a judgement watching him every week.
The lads never a winger but he's a huge athlete of a player who works hard. He's made mistakes but has huge potential....just not on the wing!

| Personaly I think catalans have impressed and us at wire are flying under the radar 2nd in league and semis of CC, yet no mention of us being contenders mainly due to us not blowing teams away, as we are rotating well and staying fresh.
Players impressing me for wire.
Hill this lad is tough, makes metres and still in first year of sl.
Atkins has been immense.
Dwyer is a hooker for the future likes to take on the line very like a young roby.
Riley has worked hard this year taking kings spot was never going to be easy

| I've been really impressed with Catalans - they seem to have a massively improved culture under Robinson and they play some very attractive rugby; if they can get their away form under control, I see them in the mix at the end of the season and I'd be happy if I was right - I like them a lot.
As for Wakey - it was always going to be a transitional year, given the parlous state we were in last season and our subsequent late entry into the recruitment market; some players have so far done better than expected (e.g Kirmond, Cockayne) and others have failed to impress (e.g John, Mellars.) We've won some games we shouldn't have won and lost some games we should have won and one occasion, lost a game we technically won. Inconsistency is the watchword thus far and that needs to be improved, although it's unlikely to be before next season. I predicted a finish from 9-12 and I still expect that to be the case.
Off the field, we've increased our average attendances to around 8.1k and hugely increased our commercial and sponsorship income and we await (by 19th June) the SoS's decision on the PI for our new stadium; rightly or wrongly, that's probably a more important result for WTW than anything that happens on the pitch this year.

| Was a bit worried for the Giants before the start of season. Thought our squad lost alot of experienced players. Wasn't sure Eden, George etc was going to be good enough and with all the injurys at start of season and having to bring players like Fairbank in thought we would be lower in the table than we are. But all the players mentioned I was completely wrong and the giants have really impressed me this season.
Catalan have impressed me the most this season so far and Bradford look better than they have the last 2-3 seasons. Leeds, Cas and Quins have been the disappointments.

| As a Rovers fan our season has been up and down, we have been so inconsistant not just in the season but individual games for example Huddersfield at home we were woeful for 33 mins and got two quick tries before half time and then turned it around and the other example was Bradford at home. The frustrating thing is we show really positive signs and they then slip back into old habits. I am of the belief that we are harder to defend against this year and less predictable in attack and that Sandercock will come good although not all fans are of this opinion.
We are starting to offload the dead wood like Scott Wheeldon whilst its encouraging to see the likes of Scott Taylor and Liam Salter putting in good performances whilst Sandercock appears to have done wonders for josh Hodgson, Rhys Lovegrove and the reborn Scott Murrell whilst not being afraid of throwing the youngsters in as he kept faith with Salter against Wigan instead of moving a 2nd rower there as we had become used to.
Other teams like Hull and Huddersfield have performed better than I expected and I am intrested to see whether they will peak to soon whilst the others are were I thought they would be although I do believe we will replace Bradford in the 8 by the end of the year. Players that have been impressive apart from the usual suspects for me include Luke Robinson, Richard Whiting and Micheal Mcclorum.
One downside this year is the overkill on the sky sports presenters, its time Stevo and Phil Clarke were let go for me and Phil Clarke stats segments needs dropping abit like his meter thing that lasted all of 4 rounds I think it was. Keep Eddie to head the show but not the commentating side just have Jon Wells and Brain Carney with him and maybe add Bill Arthur to the commentry bit more often.

| Wigan have clearly been the best side so far this season with only the odd performance being below their high standard. Giants have impressed for the most part but they still seem short of the steel in the biggest games. Catalans look a fine side, too, and not far short of contesting finals. My own side, Wire, have not played as well as in 2011, and need to improve considerably if we want to win any silverware, but on the positive side we have brought through several new under 20s players who look like genuine SL standard. London have been the biggest disappointment, and as a former 'part time supporter' during my years living in the capital I'm truly sad that they look weaker this year than ever. Individuals to impress include Scott Dureau, Luke Robinson, Sam Tomkins, and Richard Whiting. I have to disagree over Gareth Hock, though, who is the biggest thug in SL and seriously needs an attitide adjustment.
