| Hopefully it will be on television or at least the radio. Any idea what the Cumbrian team could be?

It depends on who is fit and if they are available. Theoretically, Cumbria's team could include Rob Purdham, Will Sharp, Ade Gardner, Peter Lupton, Ewen Dowes, Shaun Lunt, Oliver Wilkes, Kyle Amor, Lee Mossop, James Donaldson, Ben Harrison, Jon Clarke etc

Seeing as though Mossop, Harrison, and Donaldson are in the Knights squad, I doubt that they'll play for Cumbria. ;P)

They might no get picked in the Knights starting 17 though. I'm sure the RFL will wish to make the Cumbria side as competitive as possible for the game to ensure a decent crowd and a good work out for the Knights team

| Why is it to be played on a Saturday afternoon at 3.00pm?
A lot of RL `die hards` are involved with the amateur game on Saturday
afternoons, CRAZY................

That's how it is for me. Was really looking forward to seeing the Knights but I've said I'd go to an amateur game

| Cumbria popping up in domestic tournaments and 'international' games, is this a way of getting Cumbrians round to an idea of a Cumbrian team for the future? Barrow, Whitehaven and Workington winding up and combining to make Cumbria somewhere down the line?

If there is ever such a thing as a super league side called Cumbria i still think that Barrow, Whitehaven, and Workington will exist, but probably acting as feeder clubs to the Cumbrian side.

| Apart from the fixture with the Knights does anyone know if Cumbria have any more games lined up?

Out of interest, just how strong is Cumbrian [iidentity[/i in daily life for a Cumbrian team to one day supersede town club loyalties?
