| I love the fact that 2 people I worked with in my time at North Sydney have made a Grand Final. Aaron Heremaia in 2005 and James Maloney in 06. Jim was always a talent that I recommened to anyone.
I suspect though that if you're not a Manly fan, the majority will now want the underdog, though over here they may be a lot who wouldn't want a non-aussie team to win. Reminds me of 2002 when I would have wanted the Warriors had they not been playing the Roosters.

| The warriors probably for me but that is because I was over there at the start of the season and saw them play a couple of times (inc a friendly against Manly strangely enough). Also they knocked out Melbourne which is a plus for me but i am big fan of cherry evans

| warriors for me, i'm on heremaia watch of course (probably will come off the bench) but for me shaun johnson has been my player of the season (along with tim moltzen of the tigers). having said that i've always been a big jamie lyon fan, so won't be too down if manly win it. should be close, and one special play could be decisive this year

| FYI. Appalling weather overnight. Constant rain and still going on. Game may be a tad messy later.
Am waiting to see who the first fwit commentator is to say that "these conditions will suit the kiwis". I reckon Phil Gould.

| Nice elbow smash by Rose, what constitutes a sending off these days? Manly better team but ably assisted by the refs all the way.

Very blatant that elbow i was expecting more from the officials....the "on report" is a total cop out.
Its a shame the Warriors didn't show the flair in attack earlier on in the game.
As for Gus Gould bigging up the grubber kick by Glenn Stewart on lead up to the 2nd try as one of the best things he's seen in a grand final....well firstly i thought Robertson was slightly offside and secondly was it better than Scott Sattler's cover tackle in 03 or Benji's flick pass for Richards try in 05?

Horrible play from Rose but the ref bottled it by putting it on report. Drunk Manly fans in the crowd represented their team well.
