You want lack of atmosphere go to Suncorp when clubs play there it's like a library. Not to mention the Gestapo like Security'"
Yeah to be fair the bloke next to me wasn't happy about the fella
Been to Suncorp for a couple of Broncos games, thought the atmosphere was OK but know exactly what you mean about the stewards - proper killjoys

| I was only joking,.
On Friday night, I couldn't believe the way the promotions were being spouted across the PA, and the Parra Parra Parra was even worse.

| Sit in the Burrow with the Sth's fans, as close to an english crowd as you'll get but not within a mile of an english game atmosphere. You think Wigan's got a ltd song repertoire go to an NRL game!

Yeah you're right, done that and they're good, and quite noisy on the hill today too. Just a shame Souths often have 15,000 people in an 80,000+ stadium, never will understand why that happens so often (guess it's financial), miles better to be in a proper home ground like at the Eels, Manly or even the Dragons these days.

OK, will do when I'm over properly - think we met at Penrith in WC08. Probably going to be living in Mosman, so plan to pop over and see the Bears at the Oval (think it's only a couple of miles from there?), never been and be good to have a proper local side.

| I was at Kogarah for the Dragons-Cowboys, and the PA only announced the scorers and the replacements. Really good, enthusiastic crowd, gorgeous weather, great day out. Winning must help.

| Going back maybe 10 years, I used to watch the Roosters at the SFS/Aussie Stadium (whatever it's called these days) and you could hear a pin drop for 90% of the game - with the exception of one bloke who'd sometimes turn up in a shirt and tie. He used to chant Roosters and cluck around, climbing over seats and trying to get people going. One of the weirder things I've seen at an RL game. Nobody joined in - it's like singing at an NRL game is frowned upon or something?

| I was at the Eels v Tigers game on friday and the atmosphere was a little up and down despite a good display by the Eels and just short of 20k there. Always surprises me how the Aussie crowds fail to turn up the volume when their team is attacking close to the line, whereas i'm bellowing my lungs out.
Went to see a few Bears games when I first got to Aus and although the quality was good I couldnt help feeling a little depressed at the lack of support in the stadium for this once great club. Hopefully the next round of franchises (dirty-diirrty word) will redress that.
