| £150K maximum, for 17 players in 20 CC1 games + NRC games + play-offs. Probably works out around £400 for a win being pretty decent wages for a CC1 player.

| That's supposing you're hitting the full cap though isn't it.

Well, it supposes all your players get the same wage (not always true) and that you win every game (also not likely to be true).....
Just trying to put a ballpark figure to players wages. Clearly most CC1 clubs don't pay that much.

| The maximum cap is £150k or 40% of income. To spend the maximum you'd need to have turnover of £375k. I imagine there's a fair few clubs in CC1 who don't get anywhere near that turnover level and so are way below the absolute cap.
e.g. how much do you reckon London Skolars turnover ? Gate receipts probably add up to about £40k for the season and other income such as sponsorship and bars may take them to about £100k, in which case their cap is only £40k for the season.

| Am I right in thinking Skolars run at a profit? Someone mentioned it once and I wasn't sure how true that was.

| Championship 1 would be the level the French LER is at roughly, so why is the money so different?
Montpellier have just been promoted to LER 1 and will have a budget of 400,000 euros.
That's $578,919 AU a season.
What's the Championship cap?

The abbreviated unaudited accounts for London Skolars Ltd at companies house do not show turnover, just accumulated losses.

| Massive range depending on clubs.
Between £50 for a loss and upto £500 for a win for certain players. Some players get a weekly wage aswell.

| ah ok, so would the LER teams be around the bottom rung of the championship?
I've seen quite a few Championship and LER games, both have some good quality in them, haven't seen any of the C1 games though.
