All the better NZ players who will play next week, next year and perhaps for Wakefield the year after

Well done lads. No NZ team is ever easy, it took discipline and plenty of grit to carve out that win. Credit to Connor, Whitehead and Roby, although everyone deserves a nod.
In that heat at that altitude every single player should have many ice cold beers lined up courtesy of Moore Sports and the RFL.
Enjoyed that.

Another ridiculous comment seen as he’s been the best stand off so far this season.

Yep agree with that. Enjoyed that game. The altitude and heat obviously took some of the wrestle/tackle away and allowed it to be more open.
Good win for England. 19,000 crowd is good as long as this game isn’t a one-off. Otherwise it’ll just be a waste of time.

| I had £20 at 9/2 for England to win by more than 18.
It was totally unprofessional for Widdop to hand that kick to someone who had never kicked a goal before.

Read page 1 of this thread....... or
Simon Mannering - doesnt want to play because if he gets injured he won't get to the magical 300 NRL appearances,
drug lords - Proctor & Bromwich - disgraced, K Foran - wouldnt risk injury - big contract with the Bulldogs, S Kenny Dowall, nightingale, R Tuivasa-Sheck all would play for the first team but wouldn't risk injury for loss of big contract.
Are you happy now?,again read page 1 or guess yourself

The Denver Bronco interviewed was identified as Casey Kreiter. When asked if rugby league players could make it in the NFL, Casey Kreiter said yes, and that he had played NFL football against Jarryd Payne [sic] a few years ago, a guy whom Kreiter thought maybe was from rugby union, and that he was good.

Was waiting for that one. Kelly has been injured for a fair while and he hasn’t be as good this season. Still been quality and has his moments but not as good as Lomax. Even so that would put Lomax second which makes your statement look like nonsense.

| The press were a little worried before the match and said it may just be a success ..... because the American audience might think they were going to watch the All Blacks who they called the biggest non-American sports 'brand' in the USA! To be fair there were a lot of All Black shirts shown in the crowd before KO.

New Zealand were missing:
Full back Roger Tuivasa-Sheck
Half back Shaun Johnson
centre Dean Whare
prop Jesse Bromwich
2nd row Tohu Harris
2nd row Kevin Proctor
lock Adam Blair
That amounts to about 18 points worth of talent at the very minimum.
Next time England plays New Zealand, if those players are in the team, then it will be a very different contest.

Again Mannering is borderline to play 300 NRL matches and needs to play every single remaining league match to reach that target so he wouldnt risk it, however we play SOL who is as old as Coronation Street. All other players I mentioned would be in the team and there are more if you bother to read the thread from page 1.

I'm not even sure lomax is the best stand off at saints. He's a full back doing a half decent job at stand off in a dominant side. Looks lost when teams front up to saints and doesn't have the skillset to be a top classs stand off. Are you his dad?
