Super league always has bigger crowds, Toulouse and Catalan away games are a great weekend break, or like me and others have included the game in France whilst sunning it up in Spain

So, not really a funny reply.

Quote: JEAN CAPDOUZE "That was roughly the crowd level Catalans was getting before its promotion to Super League -- at which point crowds rocketed up to an average of over 8,000.

People are attracted by a fully professional competition, not by a semi-pro competition.'"

Great score. Toulouse are coasting that league and have as many home fans as the likes of Salford and hudds

Decent game dominated by Rochdale errors which made it easier for TO but they deserved the points tho' maybe a 25 point margin would have been fairer. Barthau was awesome again. Robin didn't get in the 19 so I suppose he'll be back for Dewsbury with Barthau being rested.

Another great result for table topping Toulouse.

The Championship has been given a new lease of life with its international dimension.

Leigh have lost again to rivals Featherstone in front of 3,594.
Leigh’s home game against Toronto Wolfpack was watched by 5,452.

Today’s Super League West Yorkshire local derby between Wakefield and Huddersfield had just 4,055 at the game.

We need the expansion clubs or we’ll end up as an amateur sport.

Has the weather played a part in such an embarrassing attendance for a derby?

Kevin Sinfield is not a French name. But Jean Capdouze is.

Yet we both celebrate the success of terrific table topping Toulouse.

1,700 Toulouse fans rattling around a 4k stadium.....London now consider 1,000 a good gate.....both cities have more of a Union pedigree with Stade Toulousain averaging 17k , whilst Quins 22k and Saracens 15k are both much better supported. Toronto......they had an 'away" event at a local downtown pub at the weekend, attended by a hundred or so people........without the beer tents and free tickets they'll struggle to get 3k to games and free tickets aren't free to Argyle......he's bleeding cash and owes suppliers money........his CEO and driving force has left and hasn't been heard of in the media since November........it's all smoke and mirrors.
I am all for expansion but not just as a pin dropping exercise.......if we are to expand then we need to expand the playing pool.......Toulouse will need to hire 10 to a dozen Anzacs if they are to compete in SL.....how is that helping French RL? If London get up, they'll have to do something similar......but both those sides are doing well in the 2nd tier with home grown talent and I'd rather they stayed in the 2nd tier and continued the development rather than a season of getting hammered by the likes of Leeds and Wigan....

How do harlequins average 22k in a 14,800 stadium and Saracens average 17,000 in a 10,000 stadium
