lol, like anyone knows what a clubs income is! Good guesswork though, about as credible as me guessing what Warrington spend on players salaries!

There are plans to bring more income into Odsal with the return of Speedway next year,also the possibility of Stock car racing returning in 2015.

I heard a rumour that they're even planning to start playing Rugby League there soon.

Before this got dragged into guesstimate central, the simple and quantifiable facts were that Bradford had no money, even after their owner had initially invested 840k earlier in the year and after the receipt of a further 200k in loans from the council.

The new 900K, regardless of what people want to believe regarding how long it will last and when it is meant for, has already seen 200k of it swallowed in backdated late wage payments. There will be further wage payments due and the only other identifiable income between now and then will be from the 3 remaining home games....2 of which that are against Catalans and London...traditionally the lowest 2 gates of the season and Huddersfield.
Ticket sales, shop sales and Pies, programs and ale are the main sources of income....and if the 3 games deliver an on-average attendance figure then about 7,000 fans will pay at the gate for these games in total...if they every man jack of them buy a 25* quid ticket and spend another 25 quid each in beer and gear (from the shop) then that's 350k or 280k after you've given the tax man his VAT.....couple that with the remaining 700k of OK's investment and you have a Million quid left.
* Bradford are offering tickets for a fiver to the Catalans and London games...but we'l play nice and stick with 25 quid tickets
September, October, November, December and January wages will put paid to that Million.....before you start the 2014 season.

2013 will have been completed with 1.74 million from the owner and 200k from the council and pretty much no money left at the end of it.

It has come out today that OK can't keep bankrolling the club and they need further investment. If that's not proof that the latest amount he's put in won't be enough then I don't know what is.

No, it hasn't come out TODAY. It came out when he took over the club 12 months ago. He said himself at the time that he didn't have vast pockets to keep throwing money at the club in the way chairmen at other clubs are able to.

The story in the T&A is more to do with trying to guilt a few of Bradford's armchair support to get off their backsides and up to Odsal.

Well, that' not actually what the article says now, is it? The article is a fairly plain attempt at a guilt-trip for those stay away and armchair supporters, to get them to get off their butts and into the stadium. But I wouldn't expect you to actually acknowledge that as you're very selective in what facts you chose to take on board and those that don't support your arguments tend to get discarded in favour of ones that do. Or failing that, you make estimates based on half-truths, whispers and plain old making stuff up then presenting it as fact.

2013 delivered 6,500 ST holders.....the entire business plan for 2014 is centred around 10,000....54% increase....it'll take more than a begging letter in the local rag methinx
