So all supporters trusts are the same ? , they all have the same problems ? , they all support their clubs in the same way ? , all their clubs have the same problems ? , all their clubs are treated in the same way by the RFL ? all their clubs recieve a million plus each year in recompense for being on the TV ?

I would suggest it isn't to embarrass your own club on live TV by conducting a protest against something that your own board signed up to and have said was conducted fairly and reasonably...

Except the protest isn't just about the Fax application issue or the request for a return to P and R , its about a general lack of respect and thought shown to all the semi pro clubs outside SL

No the complaint is that the sports governing body isn't interested in anything outside SL , the opion of fans of SL clubs dont make a difference either way , but generally they are disparaging and belittling in their comments without understanding the actual argument , much like your good self , lots of ' quippy ' one liners , but with no substance or meaning , just attempting to be clever , and failing miserably

Well I think the protest is a stupid idea, and will only serve to make Halifax fans look petty, if it still goes ahead.

I still think they have a decent case to feel angry but I agree such a protest would not gain them anything whatsoever.

I will say this. It is easy for people in super league ivory towers to dismiss how people are feeling and categorise them as ignorant or stupid or whatever but until they've been through the process and felt what they are feeling they should keep their mouths shut.

Losing out on a license is bad enough but when there is so much politics involved it invokes a special sort of anger. One of the drawbacks of the system, putting people into haves and have nots and keeping them there by committee, it's not exactly fun.

It would be nice for the Halifax fans who attended last season's game against Batley--actually turned up again for a game. Mind you they would have to pay this time.

Perhaps the RFL saw through the blatant attempt at fiddling attendances figures to get the magical 2500 average.

You mean the attendance fiddle the RFL suggested to Fax to achieve the criteria to apply for SL , so that they had a 15 club application process , instead of a 14 club elimination process ?
