I wouldn't have a problem if Crusaders and Catalans were to follow the same quota rules as the other teams.

| Eventually im sure it will happen pal, but for as long as the RFL insist on calling us expansion teams  then we will always be open to jabs over our quota allowance.. on that point i agre with you |

I agree with you. I don't think people would have as many issues with the expansion clubs if they played by the same rules as everyone else.

That would be fine had the rules not being set up to benefit everybody else.
Things like the quota and the salary cap (things heartland clubs called for) have the unfortunate consequence of putting expansion sides at a disadvantage. |

Surely the whole point of being an expansion club, is that they are allowed some leeway in the recruitment rules, to help them expand the areas the game is played in. |

Why do quota rules put expansion sides at a disadvantage? Surely allowing all clubs to sign the same amount of quota players is fairer than allowing some clubs to have more quota players than others. |
