Your lack of understanding of gates and your need to pretend it is mainly down to grounds alone is duly noted. Wrong but duly noted.'"
who called it a poor ground?
get off the NYs alcohol.

if directors are funding ground improvements thats a fantastic thing
im guessing most of the clubs debts are directors loans, which in essence is more like an equity stake.
but most people will have missed this
the club has put in over 1 million pounds in ground improvements, or has it been helped by council. either way, fantastic stuff.

Or a big black hole more like
Probably 90 % of all clubs debts will be to the directors , but the value of that ' equity ' will in 90 % of the cases be ZERO
And more importantly unsustainable long term

Gone down from £15 million to £10 million in the life of the thread. You have no credibility.

You assumed I supported a club with a poor ground! You can't even keep up with your own posts
Your assumption - like so much of your comments - is completely wrong.

| Quote: Kosh "Your comprehension skills are faulty.
The facts are in the public domain. The threat of legal action from KR appears to be based on the headline of the HDM piece in question apparently suggesting that the situation described in the 2008 accounts is [iexactly the same[/i as the situation now. It will be interesting to see how that stands up in court - if it ever gets that far. '"
If the situation is very different now, why not publish the 2009 accounts? Year end was a month ago and Hudgell has already declared the loss of £450,000 so the accounts must be ready. That would sort everything out.

the point is that the directors arent going to liquidate the club asking for their money back
owing money to creditors is something to be worried about
directors putting money in to build a competitive team isnt a thing to be worried about

But, I thought it was a stadium contest not a franchise application, your posts certainly imply that this is how you view it.
You, more than likely know little or nothing about Wakefield Trinity other than the fact that the ground is past it's sell by date. So what's your problem with Wakefield, did you once have a bad pint on the Westgate Run?

look ill simplify things for you :
1. quality of the stadium is one of the franchise criteria. for heartland clubs id say its very important
2. wakey only got in last time on the promise of a new ground which will not be met in the time the next lot of decisions are being met
3. to show it means business here letters were sent to all clubs that promised new stadiums. as the weakest club out of those that were sent letters, wakey will be booted out.
my problem with wakey is they are wasting a valuable SL spot. they cant sustain regular crowd growth, their ground is a dump and embarrasing on TV, they dont strengthen SL by challenging the top clubs regularly. also in their current ground they will never be able to challenge the top clubs either.
in their current state wakey are a waste of a SL spot and there are better contenders outside SL who deserve their shot at it.
indeed halifax and leigh if they get their acts together would merit a chance at SL once widnes get in over a club like wakey, or down the line even Cas.

So, as previously mentioned, other than the state of the ground you know little about Wakefield Trinity.
