I like what I've seen of Penny but he's not the only winger in SL with pace neither is he the only winger who can use his pace effectively.
Other wingers who would have scored that try
Hodgeson - Salford
White - Wakefield
Fox - Wakefield (Incidently, these two Trinity players are as fast if not faster than Penny)
Raynor - Hull
Donald - Leeds

I had to laugh at him getting player of the month. He's been given a few tries on a plate ffs, he's hardly player of the month material. Other than his speed he's very ordinary, and is defence is shocking, he got steamrollered by Ian Hardman . Compare his recent form to someone like Fozzard at Saints, or King and Manu at Hull, or the likes of Barrett, Briers, Sinfield. Even Richard Horne is looking like his old self again now. Penny just isn't in the same league. |

yeah, this statement suggests that you should go watch some other sport, cos you know bag all about RL.

agreed! manu and king have been brilliant recently
if you give penny a couple of years to help develop his positional play and defensive game then you might have a winger that is worthy of a GB place.
