If that's the context in which he said that, which is not the way it's been widely reported all over the world, then as always I'm happy to be corrected. It's still a very stupid and ridiculous thing to say unless you agree that abortions under any circumstance, homosexuals and pedophiles are the same.

I don't agree with a word of what he said, and I agree that its a shame that people still hold those views. I am also however strongly against censorship. So if that is how he feels then that's up to him, and I would have been disappointed if the heavyweight champ was banned from a sporting competition of sporting achievement purely because he said some things that people don't like. To be honest I think he needs to show a prolonged period of 'improvement'.....not just one apology which felt a desperate attempt to douse the flames both for him and the BBC who have also come under fire for this.

For those saying freedom of speech. Well yes but that applies both ways and people have the freedom of speech to criticise his views and believe he wouldn't be on the show. Personally think he should've been taken out of the show as it started to turn into a circus surrounding his involvement and having his named booed and having to issues apologies during his interview shouldn't be what the night involves. Also thought is was poor taste and unfair to Greg Rutherford that the BBC cut to him a couple of times during Fury's interview trying to obviously milk the heat between the two.

Giggs' win happened a year or two before all his antics came out.
