Leighs current home fan averages arent much less than 2005 and have increased this season mostly because of the teams fine form and increased optimism after recent years of financial uncertainty, but also partly because of the announced new structure, I would expect next season to see more improvement with the potential to be playing some current SL clubs

Personally there are several reasons why I am not attending, work commitments,lack of intensity due to licencing, just a geneal apathy with the way the sport was going, it would seem the SL clubs agreed with me on that given their vote to change things

Work permitting I will be going to Headingley friday week and look foward to watching Leigh cross swords with some new teams next year, the challenge to the Leigh clubs management, and indeed all the other Championship clubs and whoever comes down is to do their best to build their income streams and fan bases to be able to compete in SL

The SL clubs have decided that opportunity should be available to all, good on them for that, that is the challenge for the Bradford Bulls ,if they are up for it they will be successful, if not, they wont

So, a plan to pay ALL trade creditors IN FULL is, to you, equal to a "fact that no creditors were to be paid".

The so called plan was to work with the creditors, the suggestion was to negotiate a reduced sum and pay it back over 5 years.

Insulting!

Far from being "ridiculous", I simply report what creditors were told in writing by the administrator, at the time of the pre-pack. I'm sure you of course know better than the administrator who was a party to the deal, though. At least, in your head.

Oh, and while it is straying a little off topic, if you were such a creditor, what would you find insulting:
a) being paid in full over a period or
b) getting fsck all, ever.

I'm sure you are such a contrary mary that you probably would prefer nil to the insult of someone not responsible for your debt paying you back in full, though.

Was there money on the table at the time? , has Mr Green paid any creditors off since purchasing the Bulls?

The club should have been allowed to die, kicked out of the league because they no longer existed and, if required, a new club created that applied to the RFL for membership should have started at the bottom.
When the Cougars went into administration, again, they were only allowed associate membership of the RFL. They should have been kicked out as well along with all others who go the same way.
It's time the RFL grew a pair.
If the clubs realised the ultimate sanction was non existence, creditors/suppliers realised there was a chance of minimal/no return then the financial control at clubs would be far better and the clubs far better run.
Also financial reporting to the RFL would have to be a lot tighter and controlled more rigerously

So Mr Green was intending to use SKY money to pay off the creditors, if of course he did intend to at all
