I'm pretty sure people said that last year, and how many predicted 2 of last year's top 4 and 2 of the last 3 LLS winners would be playing in the middle 8's?

If Leeds lose their #9, they could well be back in the middle 8's ??

| Segeyaro or not, Leeds will be better than they were last year. That puts them in the top 8.
Segeyaro (if there is no replacement) is the difference between Leeds challenging for the 4 and not.

Agree with this. I think Leeds will probably be 5th or 6th. Hopefully them being back up that end is enough to mean there is some kind of battle for the top four late in the season.

Why?
What will be different at Leeds from last year, who've they signed that's going to take them from near bottom into the top 6?
Segeyero made a difference in the final third of the season and the M8s but he wants out, if he goes it's as you were with the Leeds squad except certain pivotal players are a year closer to retirement.

It's not literally all down to one player why they improved at the end of the season though is it? It's hardly an outrageous statement to say Leeds will go from 9th to 6th based on them being a lot better at the back end of last season. Last season they finished 5 points behind 6th after 23 rounds, despite the fact they were complete garbage for half the season. They won't be anywhere near as good as 2015 but they won't be anywhere near as bad as they were first half of 2016 either.

Don't shoot the messenger - but I heard a rumour that there was some sort of flooding problem with their training ground in 2016 and that resulted in them finishing in the bottom 4 because there was nowhere to train.

Leeds season will depend on how they start. A good one and they will be fine but a poor start and heads will fall as this group of players may be talented but lack the resilience of previous Leeds squads.

That was unfortunate, they kept it very quiet, do you have a link

| Quote: vastman "Wakefield sign Huby from Hudds. I'm not surprised many are picking Wakey to finish bottom as it seems to ne the default setting for the lazy or moronic on here. However Wakefieds pack is shaping up to be one of the biggest and aggressive in SL espeicially if Allgood does sign as constant rumours suggest. Added to that probably one of the best signing from he NRL in Scrum Half Sam Williams has gone virtually unnoticed which tbh honest I'm fine with - should have a field day behind that pack.
Because most of you won't have bothered to check
David Fifita 6' 4" - 18 1/2 stone
Anthony England 6' 4" - 17 1/2 stone
Keegan Hirst 6' 4" - 18 stone
Craig Huby 6' 2" - 17 stone
Anthony Walker 6' - 16 1/2 stone
Danny Kirmond 6' 1"- 16 1/2 stone
Johnny Molloy 6' 2" - 16 1/2 stone
Tinirau Arona 5' 1" - 16 1/2 stone
Matty Ashurst 6' 2" - 16 1/2 stone
if he signs...
Mitch Allgood 6' 4" - 171/2 stone
Size isn't everything but I just thought I'd mention it. Unless we implode that pack should see us safely off the bottom 2-3 places I'd of hoped.'"
One of the biggest forward packs, and fastest back rows in super league. If the can click together and stay relatively injury free I'd imagine they'll be able to give any team a run for their money

Yeah I agree with you here. If they start fast they could push for top four but I'd be surprised if they got it.

A player who can get away 500 forward passes is certainly going to be missed

You will be underwhelmed with Allgood.
Btw, no way is he 6'4"
