| Quote: Egg Chasing "So you were going to sign 25 new players were you? And from where would you have signed these players weeks before the season starts? How many have Leigh signed?'"
I’ve no idea I’m not John Kear. What have Leigh got to do with Bradford? Their squad was already better than everyone else’s in the division. Again none of these means anyone other than ill informed people like you thought Bradford were promotion material.
Quote: Egg Chasing "Why should Championship clubs get money from the tv deal when they are never on tv under said tv deal?'"
Because Championship clubs aren’t allowed to sell the rights to their games because the summer bash and play off games are shown on Sky.

Because Leigh got the vote. Why? Because they were more ready for SL than the others. By applying, your club obviously felt you were ready. 1 year of SL money and hiding after hiding wasn't exactly going to get you anywhere so there must have been a belief from the powers that be that you could compete. The two games i've seen from you so far majorly suggest otherwise. All my opinion of course.

Well that's their fault for agreeing to that deal then. They could have said no thanks and found their own deal, but they accepted the hand out instead.

| I pretty much doubt however that your application said "we'll get stuffed every week cos we're crap but please please let us in"

That still doesn’t have any bearing on the merits of the actual squad assembled to compete in the championship this season but keep trying. You’ll get there one day. A bit like getting a girl to kiss you.

Again - as it's pretty much the same squad you would have had in SL you obviously felt it was good enough. Unless of course my previous post was exactly what you put in your application.

Application - pieces of paper
Actual squad put together - real life

| Lol, London applied too, and we KNOW we haven't a squad to compete, we'd have had to have cobbled together something from those no-one else in SL wanted and some imports, it's madness to think Bradford wouldn't or shouldn't have applied, it's not the fans fault the club is in it's current predicament.

I think we've managed to sign 4 players since we got voted in, might be wrong.

Both squads were already put together (based on financial projections that took into account the loss of last season, uncertainty over whether fans will be back this year and the prospect of no central funding next year) well in advance of Toronto folding. When that unexpected opportunity arose why wouldn’t clubs apply for it?

EXACTLY! Only idiots (imho) did not apply, it's like being offered a free lottery ticket and saying "nah, I'll pass pal"...

Well I'll go the other way and say why would you apply for Super League when you know you're not ready, will finish bottom get relegated and probably set yourselves back a few years in the process? All for the sake of a few quid. It would be more like accepting a lottery ticket at 15 and knowing if you win it you can't actually claim anyway. What's the point? I do sort of get it with London though as they may have won the expansion vote.
Back to Bradford and where they see themselves BTW...John Kear said in rlan interviewrlabout a possible return to Odsal "The club is ready for Super League" and he believes that returning there later in the season could be what helps them clinch a place in 2022.
Now that sounds to me as though he believes they are on for a promotion challenge, so after a drubbing in week one I find that quite comical in the same way Warrington constantly claiming it is their year is always worth a laugh.
I'd actually love Bradford back in SL. I used to love going to Odsal for big games.
Enjoy the rest of the season guys

| How bad are Bradford? Yet some people (their 70 or so fans) tipped them for SL

Ah!, John Kear the eternal optimist, he believed he could turn Wakefield into grand final winners
