Agh feel for the lad. You could tell it was something very bad because RL players generally don't cry out in pain like that.
Hope he sticks with it and the club and his mates rally round and look after him.
As for Sky it just annoyed me how many times they were showing replays. I may be wrong but it just seemed a bit voyeuristic, as if they were desperately searching for the money shot so to speak.
I think one replay where it was obvious it would be a lower leg injury would've sufficed.

| Sky have some sick fascination with showing replays of serious/potentially serious injuries.
The slow mo replay of Gareth Ellis' Achilles rupturing & the multiple replays of Owen today are just 2 recent examples. (Didn't see the Leeds game but I'm guessing they kept replaying Achurch's injury?)

I found this one the worst of the lot because we knew from Owen's reaction that it was very serious, and as you say, looking back at it again whilst knowing that is a sick fascination with wanting to watch someone's serious injury.

was it Laithwaite? or was that SKY too, they didn't show any replays at all because they knew it was bad.

| It was Laithwaite when Wire played Leigh in the cup and it was on the BBC and they didn't show a replay iirc.
Didn't Sky replay the horrible one Grix got last year? Even though Eddie pointed out straight away before a replay "ohhh look at his ankle" which was clearly pointing in a direction it shouldn't be.

Contrast with the way they just cut away and let the medical team get on with their job during Achurch's injury on Friday night

Have you ever reffed a Rugby League game?
The RFL are always on the look out for match day officials perhaps you should apply if you think you can do a better job

Don't turn into LeagueFan.
If we take that approach we might as well shut the message board down.

I'm sure I couldn't do a better job. Doesn't alter the fact that they're all sh|t.

And the players/coaches/fans?
Most don't know the laws of the game, so whinge a bucket full when those whodo apply them.
I do believe that copies are available at a reasonable price, but most probably can't be bothered.
There are several who post on here for whom that is true.

| Why bother? It's too easy to blame the proverbial boogeyman in the middle than admit to your own teams failures.
Boooooo. Etc.
