A try is scored and the first replay will often be the incident that led to a penalty 70 yards back up the field, or the knock on that turned over possession 5 tackles ago. They dwell on the negatives rather than highlighting the good play. A combination of too many replays, and the wrong sort of replay. I find NRL coverage much less frustrating on this front - they tend to only replay really key incidents.

It does get annoying.I just wish they would call the game as it unfolds at bit more instead of constantly combing over every little decision or non decision, and going on and on about it.

As above. Fans at a game might boo an iffy decision but tend to forget it almost immediately - unless a try results. Sky's constant nit picking and harping on by the "experts" really doesn't fit with how I wish the game to be screened.

Bizzare decisions tonight, and again taking forever to make a decision and often the wrong one, the shoulder charge one a real joke IMO.If i was Sandercock i would be fuming.

This is legitimately the worst video referee performance I have ever seen.

I've only seen the 2nd half but the potential ball steal over the line that was given as a knock-on I can understand as, despite the commentary team's protestations, you couldn't actually see whether the ball was stolen or dropped and the ref seemed to think it was dropped or he would've given a penalty as soon as the Hull FC man gained possession rather than allowing them to continue.

As for the shoulder charge, possibly a bit harsh but, like the knock-on, I can see why it was given since it was technically a shoulder charge.

Like I say, haven't seen the first half though.

What was wrong with the Hull KR try? Watching it with no sound...
