| Quote Cleck Bulls="Cleck Bulls"i have heard that clubs like wire and wigan give extra money to there big costing players and it has nothing to do with the contracts, just extra money that has been promised.
Dont know how wire are still in the salary cap though with the likes of waterhouse, j.monaghan, m. monaghan and hodgson. However they have got simon moran so i suppose that answers the question.'"
Yes....I'm sure all those club chairmen, employees and the players themselves are quite willing to risk prison sentances for tax evasion. I'm also sure those "big costing players" were equally willing to commit to a club through a contract that specified a lower salary than they expect to be paid.

How would anyone know if one of the wealthy chairman paid players bonuses, lump sums etc from their other companies.

| Even if Wigan were close to the cap which i very much suspect there not because of the players that have left/retired recently compared with the ones that have been signed/promoted, the contract for matty smith could have been back weighted so he only gets a small wage for this season and a much bigger one for next season to compensate.
Warrington is a completley different issue though, with the big name players they have I just cant see how they all fit under the cap. But if they have there rent/mortgage paid for them plus a company car and petrol and food allowances etc etc then there wage doesnt need to be as big I suppose!!

All of which counts on the salary cap.
Does anyone actually have any evidence of the kind of corruption necessary for the cap to be avoided in these ways? Does anyone have any evidence or even an idea as to what these big name players are actually on?

It doesn't matter what [iyou [/ican or can't see. The RFL monitor the cap and Wire have never breached it. Stop throwing around unsubstantiated innuendo.

Oh its that simple. What will Fatty Woods ask Moran, Hughes, Leneghan et al to submit all of thier companies finances to Red Hall. Got it.
Get your application in for Lewis's vacant job. Your as daft as them.

And you're incredibly stupid if you think club chairmen would pay a player from one of their companies without announcing it for the cap. If they want to get around the cap they would ask a third party unrelated to the club to pay them, or find ways of lowering the players tax liability.

| Dont all new signings have to be run past the RFL now that the cap is "live" meaning clubs cant go over the cap?

| Not making any allegations but I'm pretty sure AdeyBull has demonstrated numerous times on this forum how it is possible to circumvent the live cap through third party payments to players.

| Third Part Payments may be made or may not be made it doesn't really matter.
If the RFL checked players their partners bank accounts and tax returns then they'd have a better idea where their money is coming from and how much.
Until that is done the SC is just such a waste of time!
