Not if you actually come on here to find out which club has signed which player.
Not to get petty spats & clumsy innuendo.

I've never dissed him Vasty. You've lost a good 'un there. Quite replaceable though - I'm sure Dale Furguson will be an improvement.

| Do not think this has come as a supprise to most Leeds fans , we have been expecting it . The guy was only using us and only signed a contract as a safety net as no one had come in for him at the time

In a sense he's right. Currently Segeyaro is back over in Auz.

| Nothing to be happy about, even for non-Leeds fans.
SL has seen three of its stars leave in quick succession; Pritchard, Sandow and Segeyaro.
Our league would be better for having these players in it.
The salary cap gap due to the exchange rate is the widest it's been. Players signing contracts to come to SL in 2015 or before are now earning a lot less now relative to the Aus$. It's Ky quite panic stations, but something the RFL have to start thinking about before more of our top talent & stars leave.

| ATEOTD the NRL is the premiere rugby comp in the world, leaving that comp also means leaving the opportunity of playing SOO, and playing against the best players in the game every week. It also means leaving the lifestyle. The salary cap needs increasing, but there's no money in the game to do it. It's a sad state of affairs, but the game simply doesn't have the money within it to keep the best players here at the moment.

| I think the upcoming world cup gives the ESL a chance to change their criteria and it would be very good for the game in the long run.
I believe you can recruit players who have played international games, and teams like Lebanon, Italy, PNG, USA, Fiji and others will use dozens of players who are either fringe NRL players, or NSW and Qld cup standard.
If the ESL drops the number of regular NRL players for teams and increases the number of international players, you will get a lot of the players who build up a high profile in the WC and are good enough to play ESL as it stands now.
It obviously isn't ideal that exchange rates mean the NRL now has a lot more money than the ESL, but giving a lot of international players the chance to develop a profile and train as full time professionals will be good for the code, and the ESL will look a lot more interesting with a bunch of Fijians, Papuans, Tongans etc.

This is the natural course of things taking effect, this is why people have been saying for years that the sport desperately needs to expand, things will continue to get worse into we can get into more relevant cities and regions. Imagine how good English soccer would be if there was no presence in major cities and all the teams were in places like Grimsby and Crewe etc, the sport would be left behind in an instant and that is effectively the situation in RL.
