I am surprised that a side like Rochdale, that can boast the presence of the Adamson brothers and Billy Brickhill, cannot do better.

Pity that Mark Kheirallah could not convert more tries. Toulouse could have got to 60.
Anyway ten tries to one is not a bad day at the office. French national half William Barthau got two tries.

Indeed...they have now beaten the sides sitting 12th, 11th, 10th and 9th......and when faced with a top 4 contender they got their 'arrises" handed to them.......late March and early April will sort the men from the boys. |

That was roughly the crowd level Catalans was getting before its promotion to Super League -- at which point crowds rocketed up to an average of over 8,000.
People are attracted by a fully professional competition, not by a semi-pro competition.

Super league always has bigger crowds, Toulouse and Catalan away games are a great weekend break, or like me and others have included the game in France whilst sunning it up in Spain

HOW MANY TIMES?????
£20 a ticket and £15 on beer and merchandise.....so an away fan is worth £35. At best, 1,000 is the average away support split across 11 rounds and I am being really generous here, so Toronto, replacing say Wakefield will cost a SL club £35,000.
The minimum turnover of a SL club is £4,000,000 so Toronto instead of Widnes is worth less than 1% of a SL clubs turnover.
There are many valid reasons for and against expansion into America, but "AWAY FANS" isn't one of them.
