i am happy to help you get things right.
The Giants signed Korki who has several SL first grade seasons under his belt. If he was a reserve grade player in 08 I would be appalled if the Giants signed him for 09
I think a club 1 or 2 years into SL needs some latitude because of the limitations of available players in the short term. So Cas/HKR/Celtics have rightly had some latitude re overseas numbers.
I think a club with a decade of continuous SL time should not have around double figures for 'overseas' players. Nor should they be resorting to signing a reserver grade NRL player.
It appears this viewpoint is problematic for quite a few wakey posters. HTH |

So you are happy to sign a NRL reserve grader that has actually failed to perform in SL with any degree of regularity or success and is potentially keeping a local kid out of the squad....is that right? |

I have explained things clearly.
I do not share your view on Korki. He has played many first grade games prior to joining the Giants. His stats are sound and he will do a job for us.
You support a team with a very large proportion of non UK players who are now signing NRL reserve grade players after 10 years in SL. If you think that is acceptable and shows progress, so be it.
I disagree.
Its not enough that certain wakey fans accept or support what their club is doing. they also cannot bear it if some people take a different view. They will have to learn to live with it. |

Easy. You raise a legitimate concern about a SL club of over a decade resorting to signing a reserve grader and they all come crawling out of the woodwork.
The capacity for justifying the recruitment shambles is hilarious. And you get a poster who says it is time to 'move on'....but can't manage it 'himself'.
