They'll have fewer and fewer options.
Clubs are only likely to stop hiring unvaccinated players because of the negative effects they bring. If other clubs choose to ignore those effects and hire them then that's their lookout.

True but you can say gay people are going to hell and still get a club apparently, so being a bit of a covid cock should still leave a few doors open.

He was in Lanzarote just before Christmas and Spain is only allowing fully vaccinated tourists from the UK, so presumably not.

Not for long I think. Once a club has a few unvaccinated players and one happens to get covid then chances are all the unvaccinated will have to isolate whereas fully vaccinated players probably won't. That will potentially affect results on the field. Imagine if that happened before a promotion decider? Then there's the potential increased risk to families and friends of the playing group that stand an increased risk of infection if there are unvaccinated players mixing with them. Some clubs may decide that it's more trouble than it's worth to sign unvaccinated players. Some clubs will try and wing it and see what happens. Some may try and ignore the rules completely and hope they don't get caught.

| Quote Saddened!="Saddened!"Do you know what potential means? Also, you don't know if it's twaddle though do you? You are just taking the opposite opinion. There was a discussion on the radio last night about how Premier League clubs are now including covid protocol and vaccine related clauses in contracts now. They were talking about how it might impact tennis and if tournaments and governing bodies could do it to avoid a Djokovic repeat. Why would PL clubs start doing that if it didn't add a layer of protection or at least clarify expectations re contracts to players? If they had free reign to do whatever they wanted, as you make out, why would they bother? A similar issue (Health care staff in the US being mandated to be vaccinated in order to work) is in court in America now. It'll definitely be looked at if someone tells a player they aren't getting a contract or are being released because of their vaccination status.'"
yes I also, unlike yourself, know the definition of discrimination. I also know that if you turn down a job because you don't like the perfectly legal terms of the contract you cannot claim discrimination! I am not giving an opinion - I'm telling you the current law regarding contracts of employment.
Funny how you are now slowly changing your argument. Oh and I doubt very much any club needs to give a reason as to why they aren't offering someone a new contract - they are under no obligation to offer a contract to anyone at all!

Saying gay people are going to hell doesn’t (yet) get you banned from going to a country where you might be playing 11% of your season. If you already have a few injuries or players having to isolate, it only takes a couple of extra team members being unavailable for you to be down to the bare bones, and clubs will figure out they just aren’t worth the risks (unlike the druggies and the wife beaters who will continue to find somewhere to land because they always have done and always will).

Hopefully France will see sense and remove it's daft rules before too long. They have some ridiculous vaccine rules and still have restrictions and yet they are removing them despite topping 500,000 cases yesterday. Having a rule that says professional sportsmen have to be vaccinated to play in France whilst they could go on holiday there while their team plays is just really stupid.

Not much of a holiday with the first ten days being spent in quarantine. That's assuming the French could be persuaded that a holiday qualifies as essential travel.="Saddened!Having a rule that says professional sportsmen have to be vaccinated to play in France whilst they could go on holiday there while their team plays is just really stupid.'"
