| Myler was offside
Sensational game though and Ganson had as good a game as both teams. never thought I'd say that but credit where it's due

Any one trying to claim that is not offside, using that screen shot needs their head inspecting. Wonder boy was offside, no argument whatsoever.

| Clearly offside by half a metre or so. Both feet need to be on or behind the line these days remember.

| the fact is that the whole warrington line is in front of Ganson as it is, so anyone in front of them is even more offside.

| And the markers aren't square either. There are three in front of the ref on that screenshot.

| Strange game that one. Ganson gave Leeds nothing for an hour...looked like Leeds would be reffed out of the game, and suddenly things seemed to swing even. Ironic then, that a contentious penalty in Leeds' favour wins them the game. IMO, the penalty was correct.
Absolutely epic game, fantastic to see twitter full of praise from non-RL fans. What a shame that wasn't the Grand Final. Even as a Wigan fan I was breathless at the end.

I don't think Myler is offside, he's in line with the other players in the defensive line and if you look at the pitch markings he's definitely the full ten metres.

Is he in front of the referee? Yes he is (as are a few other players) that and the fact the markers are not square I don't see how anyone could say it was a contentious decision. Right decision. But the Hall's third try should have stood as well.

| I love these "I don't understand the rules, therefore the referee is wrong" threads … mind they're never going to go away while Mike Stephenson continues building his commentary on nothing more than "I don't understand the rules, therefore the referee has got it wrong" reactions to every decision.

Since when did the rule say that the referee should take the defence back 12 or 13 metre's
[iRetire at play-the-ball (g) players of the side not in possession other than the player taking part in the play-the-ball and the acting half back are out of play if they fail to retire ten (10) metres from the point at which the ball is played[/i

| It's an offence not to retreat 10m, if the ref (as Ganson, and a lot do) stand 12m back to observe better then it's not an offence to stand in front of the ref.
FWIW Myler was offside and the pen rightly given .
